| I. KUWAIT OIL COMPANY – PRE-QUALIFICATION OF MAJOR INTERNATIONAL EPC CONTRACTORS |

In order to improve the overall tendering process, particularly the participation of internationally renowned prime contractors in their future projects of value exceeding US $ 500 Million, Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) has announced a fresh international prequalificationexercise to pre-qualify major international Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) Contractors in the petroleum Industry.
The pre-qualification exercise shall be open to all international contractors, including any EPC contractors previously pre-qualified by KOC. Importance will begiven to the applicant’s in-house capabilities forcarrying out Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management and Quality Assurance / Quality Control.
The last date for submitting the documents for prequalification is March 1, 2004. |

| II. KUWAIT OIL COMPANY – PRE-QUALIFICATION OF MAJOR INTERNATIONAL EPC CONTRACTORS |

Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) has announced a fresh prequalification to pre-qualify three sets of EPC International Contractors for participation in their future tenders for petroleum projects. This pre-qualification shall be open to all international contractors including any EPC contractor previously qualified by KOC.
The following are three categories in which KOC wishes to pre-qualify international contractors:
- Small size projects with estimated values up to US$ 50 Million
- Medium size projects with estimated values from US$ 50 Million up to US$ 200 Million.
- Large size projects with estimated values from US$200 Million up to US$ 500 Million.
The last date for submitting the documents for prequalification is March 1, 2004. |
